Fox's petition

Signing the UNITE petition to save Fox's Biscuits in Uttoxeter from closure.

Janet  has visited Fox’s Biscuits headquarters in Batley to discuss the possible closure with management. more

Janet  marched with Fox's Biscuits workers on Valentines Day, Saturday 14th March. Speaking to the crowds at the rally, Janet said,

"We are sending the message that there are generations of people who have worked here; we need the jobs in the town, we have a loyal workforce here and we are in the centre of the country for the distribution of the biscuits."

"We need this employment. We lost big employers in the 80s and it took years and years for the town to recover."
