Fox's petition

Signing the UNITE petition to save Fox's Biscuits in Uttoxeter from closure.

Speaking to the crowds at a rally earlier this year, Janet said,

"We are sending the message that there are generations of people who have worked here; we need the jobs in the town, we have a loyal workforce here and we are in the centre of the country for the distribution of the biscuits."

Janet  visited Fox’s Biscuits HQ in Batley to discuss the possible closure with management. more

 

Update November 2009

Janet has welcomed the announcement of new investment in the Fox's factory, though there will be job losses, which is disappointing.  She is wholly committed to the campaign to keep the factory open.
